SANDESTIN WOMEN OF IMPACT 100 NWF CELEBRATED A FUNDRAISING GOAL
Sandestin women of IMPACT 100 NWF are excited to announce they have achieved their fundraising goal of raising $100,000. The challenge was to get enough women JUST from Sandestin residents to fund a $100,000 IMPACT 100 NWF grant. We did it!!
Since its creation in 2012, IMPACT 100 of Northwest Florida has awarded $1.7 million in grants to local (501)(c)(3) nonprofits organizations in Okaloosa and Walton counties, which includes four $102,000 grants in 2017. The organization empowers women to become philanthropists and leaders, so they can be a positive force for good in their community. Young women from the ages of 21 to 39 may apply for our NextGen scholarship to receive funding to reduce the cost of their membership. To apply to this program visit our website at: www.impactnwf.org/nextgen-program/
The money will be added to the IMPACT 100 of Northwest Florida’s 2018 nonprofit grant award fund. We encourage all communities in Okaloosa and Walton County to rise to this challenge. We were 408 members strong in 2017 and hope to reach 500 members in 2018. If we achieve our goal, five nonprofits will receive a $100,000 grant award in 2018.
