For 30 years, the Gulf Power Foundation, an independent 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, has been partnering and investing in communities throughout Northwest Florida. We are one of the region’s largest corporate foundations, funded entirely through resources independent of Gulf Power’s customers.

As a reminder, Gulf Power will become Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) on Jan. 1, 2022. As a result of this, the Gulf Power Foundation will merge into the NextEra Energy Foundation and adopt its name.

As part of our commitment to our customers and communities we serve, the Gulf Power Foundation, which will operate as NextEra Energy Foundation beginning in 2022, will honor all commitments and maintain local presence in Northwest Florida.
