Seagrove Beach is what we would consider Old Florida. Old Florida to us means a refreshing underrepresentation of really controlling HOAs. It's your land, you build the house you want on it. Which ultimately has mixed blessing results. David and I met and fell in love while we were both working in the service industry. A lot of the service industry workers who work in the more exclusive communities like Alys Beach, Rosemary, and Seaside, live in the Old Florida communities like Dune Allen, Blue Mountain, and Seagrove. In the last five years or so, that's become no longer the case. Because of the incredible escalating real estate prices and the unparalleled amount of high end construction living. So if we wanted to stay in Seagrove, we knew we were going to have to find a new hustle.
