Alaqua Animal Refuge Pet of the Week “Kristo”  Kristo is a sweet natured, medium size dog. He weighs 20 lbs and is a 2-1/2 year old Cattle Dog mix that was rescued from a county shelter. We think he spent quite a bit of time on the streets alone, because he is still a little shy around people. Currently, Kristo is a part of our Unconditional Love Program where he is learning basic commands and fine tuning his social skills. He has gone through our prison program twice and is scheduled to graduate in May. He’s a special guy and we want him to have the best possible future. Our hope is that Kristo finds the perfect family and can be adopted on Graduation Day. #EveryoneNeedsABuddy and Kristo could be yours! Kristo’s adoption fee is $200 which includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccines and his graduation certificate.
