Proceeds to Benefit the Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center

 

Niceville, Fla. June 30, 2011, Grab your luckiest pole and most reliable lure, the 2011 AGLA Bass Tournament is set for August 6 at Marina Village in Freeport.  A $3,000 payout is at stake for the winners of this annual tournament in memory of local angler Bob Zdenek.

 

Attendees will each have two anglers per boat and will depart at first light.  There will be plenty of family fun planned while the anglers are out fishing.  The day will feature a car show, arts & crafts booths, delicious food, demonstration boat rides, a giant waterslide for the kids and live entertainment.  The Family Fun Day is free and open to the public.  Come for the fun, stay for the weigh in and see who brings in the biggest fish and takes home the cash.

 

Angler entry fees are $110 per boat.  Interested angler should visit: aglabass2011.eventbrite.com.  Arts and Crafts vendor spaces are available for $25 each and may be secured by calling Joy Hudson at 850-833-9237 x256. 

 

The tournament is presented by WTKE 100.3 The Ticket Sports Radio.  Businesses interested in sponsoring this event should contact WTKE 100.3 at 850-244-1400.

 

Raffle prizes, door prizes and a silent auction will all help to raise funds for child abuse and neglect victims served at the Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center.

 About the Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center
The Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center (ECCAC) provides services to help identify, treat and support children in abusive situations. The organization helps prevent child abuse through education, protects child victims from future abuse, and provides resources to restore the lives of the child and the child’s family. The Center is a non-profit organization located in Niceville, Fla. It serves Okaloosa and Walton counties and houses representatives from the Florida Department of Children and Families, Child Protection Team, State Attorney’s Office, local law enforcement, Guardian ad litem and licensed mental health counselors.
