30A TV filmed the 1st Annual Fire Truck Pull — from Facebook – If you didn’t attend the first annual 30-A Fire Truck Pull you missed! Trust me whatever you did, it was not nearly as much fun as everyone who participated and attended. Two highlights from the event: the picture of all the kids who participated/attended got to pull the fire truck first today. Second highlight was an unplanned tug-of-war between Bay & SoWal Fireman.
Bay county took first place in the Fire Truck men’s pulling division but South Walton beat them in the tug-of-war. I smell a rematch next year! Special thanks are required: fireman Josh Ellis made everything happen between 30-A Chiropractic, Gulf Place and getting all the professional firefighters and the department truck on board. Another special thanks to Fireman Coy Surprise. Always behind the scenes and never looking for accolades, Coy always does anything I ask and was responsible for all social media creation from the fire truck pull to all of my businesses; Coy designed a lot of the T-shirt Art work and our T-Shirts are bad ass!
Thanks to Gulf Place for hosting our charity event. Thanks to all the teams that participated: Bay county fire fighters, Walton County fire fighters, Louis Louis, Centennial bank, Santa Rosa Beach CrossFit, 30-A Gym & Fitness, The Spine Institute/Sacred Heart. Thanks to additional sponsors/donors including Southbay Ace, 30-A Chiropractic, Ink Trax (made the T- Shirts), Ryan Templeton. This event was pulled together in about 10 weeks. Next year we will be more than prepared and expect to double if not triple our attendance and pulling teams. If we forgot to thank anybody I sincerely apologize. Most Sincere Thanks to everyone who participated and attended. It is you people that make living on the Emerald Coast so wonderful.
