LAH Real Estate at The Beach Hosts Playhouse Reveal Party & Raffle to Benefit Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center
Santa Rosa Beach—LAH Real Estate at The Beach is proud to host the Playhouse Reveal Party benefitting the Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center (ECCAC) on October 13 from 5:00 to 7:00PM. Eight local businesses joined together to transform a children’s playhouse built and donated by the Walton Correctional Institution. The playhouse will be revealed and raffled off in order to raise awareness of child abuse prevention. The Playhouse Reveal Party is free and open to the public, and will feature children’s activities, a cookout, and family fun.
“We are thrilled to have the collaboration of all these people raise money to help abused and neglected kids in our community, “ said Kim Henderson, Director of Development for the ECCAC. “We can’t wait to see the final product!”
Each of the businesses that participated in the playhouse build—LAH Real Estate at The Beach, Savi Flooring and Tile, Clay Garden & Gifts, Specialty Roofers, Press Print Graphics, CertaPro Painters, Re-Creations, and Baker Design Co. —contributed to the design or construction in a unique manner. Teaming up with the ECCAC, the collaborative build re-enforces the power of community to protect children and restore the lives of those who have survived childhood abuse.
LAH Real Estate at The Beach broker, Bryan Whitehead, has a special place in his heart for the work that ECCAC does. Bryan’s wife, Jamey, serves on the ECCAC Board of Directors, so when Bryan heard that the center had acquired a playhouse that needed some work, he knew he had to get involved. Bryan says, “LAH Real Estate is very excited to partner with the ECCAC, The Hive, and all of the local businesses who are helping make this playhouse raffle come to fruition. We hope that the community can come out to learn a little more about what the ECCAC does for children in our area and buy a bunch of raffle tickets to help them keep doing their great work.”
All Reveal Party attendees will have a chance to enter the raffle, plus tickets will continue to be sold through Nov 10th. Raffle tickets are $10 each or 12 for $100 and can be purchased at LAH Real Estate at The Beach, online at www.eccac.org or by calling the ECCAC at 850-833-9237. All proceeds will go to restore the lives of abused and neglected children in Okaloosa and Walton counties. If abuse is suspected, call the anonymous Florida Abuse Hotline at 1-800-96-ABUSE.
