SHIPT LAUNCHES GROCERY DELIVERY ON GULF COAST
App-based grocery delivery service expands to 30A, Destin, Fort Walton Beach, Panama City and Panama City Beach
PANAMA CITY, Fla. (Feb. 18, 2016) – Shipt, an app-based grocery delivery service, today announced that it will begin delivering fresh groceries from local Publix® stores to Gulf Coast residents beginning on March 3, 2016. The coverage area will include the 30A, Destin, Fort Walton Beach, Panama City and Panama City Beach areas.

Through the Shipt app, members create grocery lists, note any preferences or substitutions, choose a one-hour delivery window for their groceries to be delivered and pay for their order. Shipt connects members with local Shipt Shoppers to shop at the nearest grocery store, hand pick their items and deliver them to the member’s home or office as soon as one hour after the order.
The Shipt app allows access to all of the items available in the traditional grocery store, including perishable, deli and bakery items. The app features sections designed to simplify members’ lives, including health-focused sections, seasonal sections and a “Dinner Tonight” section with ingredients for quick, easy meals.
The company will hire additional shoppers along the Gulf Coast to select high-quality groceries and communicate closely with the member to ensure complete, accurate fulfillment of each order. By purchasing a membership, members receive unlimited grocery deliveries for an annual fee of $99. Customers who sign up prior to the March 3 launch will receive up to $20 in grocery credit.
