On Friday, February 7, 2020 Dunavant Enterprises and the Premier Property Group, project listing agent, held the official “groundbreaking” ceremony for Parkside, the latest expansion of the award-winning Henderson Beach Resort. While the actual construction of the site-work began months ago, community members and dignitaries gathered at the construction site directly adjacent to The Henderson to memorialize the groundbreaking and official start of vertical construction.
Phase one of Parkside includes 32 of the 64 planned luxury condominium residences with buyers having the option of Gulf-view residences overlooking Henderson Beach State Park, or residences that are situated on the new, expansive $3.5 million resort-style swimming pool, lazy river, pool bar and grill. Parkside will offer its residents an elevated style of condominium living through access to The Henderson’s impressive array of amenities and services including multiple on-site dining options, a world-class spa, concierge, valet, in-room and poolside dining, daily cleaning, courtesy shuttles and beach chair and umbrella service.
“We are excited to be a part of The Henderson’s expansion, and the market seems to be excited too,” said Michael McNeil, project manager for Parkside. “Almost two-thirds of the new resort condominiums are already under contract, but several great opportunities remain.”
In addition to the plush amenities and services that the new development will offer, the $22.5 million first phase of Parkside is also expected to create or support over 100 construction-related jobs in the community. Phase one is expected to be completed in 16 months and ready to move in for the 2021 summer season.
