November 17 and December 1 & 15: 10AM – 2PM at the Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida Have you ever wanted to try your hand at the forge? Band and shape steel? Make something useful and enduring? Strike now! The iron is hot. Students will learn the basic skills of the blacksmith including safety, tolls and equipment, and the skills for drawing out, upsetting, hotcutting, and bending and punching.
